Spangenberg's professional background in elder care and client relations includes extensive work with healthcare, hospitality, and non-profit organizations. Her personal passion for caring for the elderly translated especially well to professional work in a home care agency, long term care facility and now an elder law firm.
Outside the law firm, Spangenberg serves as a certified Long Term Care Ombudsman to a skilled nursing facility and has recently completed the University of Florida's Certificate Program in "Life Care Planning for Elder Care Coordinators." She serves on the boards of the Houston Gerontological Society and the Houston Area Continuity of Care. Spangenberg has a degree in International Relations and Economics from Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
